Team SVBC thanks you for supporting California Climate Ride 2012

Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition Climate Ride 2012

Wow! What an incredible ride and an inspiring group of people. I couldn’t have asked for anything more, and I did have my fingers crossed for no rain (success!). There were so many people with very different backgrounds, all with a common interest of making the planet a better place to live. It is no surprise then that many of the people who work in green energy, sustainability, and climate change policy are also cyclists. There was a certain feeling of enthusiasm being around a large group of like-minded people.

I would especially like to thank our team members, Rose Madden, Gavin Powell, and Elizabeth Sippl, for their fundraising efforts and for joining me in a 320-mile ride to raise awareness about climate change by promoting bicycling as a healthy and green alternative. I would also like to give a special thanks to all our supporters for their contributions in helping us reach our fundraising goals. Thank you for all your generous support!

Want to cycle through one of the most beautiful areas of Northern California and be inspired? Support Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition in California Climate Ride 2013, May 19-23, 2013.
