Caltrain has completed the increase in bike capacity approved by the Board in February. Join the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition's Bikes on Board project in thanking the Caltrain board (agenda item 3).
The project will also be there to encourage Caltrain to add bikes to its Short-Range Transit Plan. Show up to the meeting and you will receive a “More Bikes, No Bumps” sticker to identify you as a supporter of Caltrain’s onboard bicycle service. Your presence truly makes a difference, because when the Board sees an audience full of bikes onboard supporters, they take notice!
Here’s the meeting agenda:

In addition, you are urged to report any instance of getting "bumped" from a Caltrain because of insufficient bicycle carrying capacity.
If you are reporting real-time to http://twitter.com/bikecar, please copy all four addresses: lindella@samtrans.com, bikesonboard@sfbike.org, board@caltrain.com, simonm@samtrans.com
If you are reporting after the fact, please use the handy email link near the top of SFBC's web page. It will automatically populate your email client with the above four addresses. http://www.sfbike.org/caltrain_bob
Please report the following:
number of bumped cyclists (even if you are not one of them), day, station, train number or time plus travel direction, train type, i.e., old or gallery vs. new or Bombardier, and any additional information such as how getting bumped affected your day.
