Meet up in San Carlos for a fun bike ride to celebrate the vernal equinox. This community ride, hosted by the Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition, will generally travel counter-clockwise around Redwood Shores on flat terrain. Detours will take the group to see the bike lanes on Twin Dolphin and trail connections near the dog park and the Redwood Shores Library.
Along the way, the group will cross over a couple of tricky freeway overpasses at Ralston and Holly Streets. Timid riders will want to proceed with caution, but there will be several, more experienced riders to help out.
The ride will end with lunch in Belmont, at Café Moussant.
Meet at the San Carlos Caltrain Station at 11:00 AM to start the ride. Both northbound and southbound trains get there before 11:00 AM
