EcoMobility World Congress

Hey all. I'm a born-and-raised San Josean and I happened to be covering the EcoMobility conference in Changwon, South Korea last week.

The keynote speakers had many amazing things to say about bicycling developments throughout the world, but I was a bit saddened when one of them singled out Silicon Valley as an example of cycle-inadequacy.

I had to bite my South Bay pride a bit and admit that we ARE very far behind, and we do need to start forcing our government to think way outside the box. To that point, I appreciate what you guys do and would like to help out.

FYI, here are some of the articles from the conference:
Whe Riding a Bike isn't about Saving the Planet - http://www.sociecity.com/rethink/changwon-the-iphone-the-car-and-true-fr...

Alameda Bicycle Boulevard (San Jose) - http://www.sociecity.com/design-for-the-future/alameda-bicycle-boulevard

Again, I'd like to be a resource if y'all can use my help in any way.

Cheers,
Patrick
