The City of Santa Clara is one of the Bay Area's oldest cities, and a bike ride along its quiet streets is a pleasant way to visit its many historic sites. An easy 6 mile route includes Mission Santa Clara, Carmelite Monastery, Victorian-era homes and a pioneer cemetery.
On Sunday September 28th, the Hon. Jamie McLeod (Santa Clara City Councilmember and SVBC member) will lead a historic bike tour of the City of Santa Clara with stops at the historic sites.
This ride is appropriate for riders of all levels including children. For those who prefer a walking tour, a map and information will be provided.
Meet at the Santa Clara Train station at 3pm on Sunday September 28th. The northbound train arrives at 3:05pm and we will wait for that train's arrival before departing.
Come out for a fun and educational ride, and take advantage of the opportunity to talk with an SVBC elected official.
