Some preliminary results from the National Household Travel Survey have just been released and may be interesting to our members. The survey is being conducted by the Federal Highway Administration.
Results from the full survey are scheduled to be released in late fall of 2009.
The document attached below, "Inklings," has preliminary results from the 2008 NHTS on SUV ownership, Auto Occupancy, Alt. Fuel Vehicles, Buying Online, Working Retirement, & Travel to School.
