This letter requests that San Carlos consider improvements along San Carlos Ave between Beverly Dr and the Belmont border. Since bike lanes would be difficult along this narrow and heavily traveled stretch, other options need to be considered for improving the safety of bicyclists using this important bike route. Furthermore, the new and controversial bike lanes on Alameda de las Pulgas in Belmont would be more accessible from San Carlos if this stretch of road were more "bike-friendly."

This is exactly what I wished
This is exactly what I wished someone to propose. With the addition of the bike lane on Alameda, I was hoping to use my bike (with my son in the back) to his school, but the San Carlos portion is too scary for me to even try it.
