Caltrain Bicycle Advisory Committee meeting

On Thursday, March 15, the Caltrain Bicycle Advisory Committee will meet at 1250 San Carlos Ave, San Carlos.

The agenda (PDF, 120 KB) includes the latest on bicyclists being bumped from trains, and a staff report regarding possible subsidy to "Warm Planet" bike facility at 4th and King in San Francisco. The staff person is new: Gina Simi, the interim Community Relations manager (former staff person was Bevan Dufty). Another agenda item is the discussion of a bike locker survey. There will also be a presentation by the Transbay Joint Powers Authority regarding bicycle facilities at the Transbay Transit Center.

Ryan Kauffman is the Committee member representing the bike coalition for San Mateo County; Carlos Babcock (Committee Chairperson) represents the bike coalition for Santa Clara County.
