VTA bicycle guidelines workshop

Santa Clara Valley Transit Authority (VTA) is having a workshop on updated items for the county's Bicycle Technical Guidelines.

Topics currently under consideration are:

  • Roundabouts and bike lanes
  • Bollards or rather alternatives to bollards
  • Woonerfs (shared bike/ped spaces), both residential and commercial and parklets
  • Bike corrals
  • Rural options for bike paths and shoulders
  • Bulb-outs and bikes
  • BRT and bike Lanes
  • Contraflow bike lanes
  • Cycle tracks
  • Green bike lanes
  • Freeway four-leaf clover interchanges
