Last May, with only a few bike touring overnights under their belts, SVBC members Cody Kraatz and Angela Dube set out from San Jose to ride their bikes across the country, carrying the gear they needed for their three-month journey in panniers, front and rear. Join Cody and Angela for a digital presentation of their self-supported 14-state tour, which took them across the Sierra Nevada and high desert of eastern Oregon, through Yellowstone and Teton National Parks, over the hills of the Kansas prairie, to the quaint towns and dairy farms of upstate New York and western Mass. As Cody and Angela share the joys and challenges of their 4,300-mile adventure, they'll give you tips on gear, route-planning, and accommodations to help you make the most of your next cycle tour.
