Guadalupe River Trail construction update

As mentioned in the May trails update, the Lower Guadalupe River Creek Trail in San José will be closed for paving from June 2012 through May 2013. Here's the latest on that project.

One is with on-road lanes and sharrows, with difficult high-speed traffic conditions and crossing through motorists who are using through/right lanes getting onto 101 South from eastbound Holly. Vision Zero Update

As many of you know, SVBC convened a unique closed session at our April Silicon Valley Bike Summit to pull together law enforcement, elected officials, and city leaders to discuss the road safety issues facing our area. That group had a subsequent meeting and is now calling itself the Roadway Safety Solutions Team and is emerging as a powerful collaborative.

San José bike lanes update meeting

Please join the City of San José for an update on its plans to place dedicated bike lanes on Ocala Avenue (between Capitol Expressway and South White Road). This project will include the reduction of one travel lane in each direction in order to accommodate the implementation of buffered bike lanes. Minimal parking impacts are anticipated with this project.

Stevens Creek Trail bridge grand opening
