San José cyclists: If you live or work here in "The Capital of Silicon Valley," we need you to act fast to let the City Council know that you support new bike infrastructure on 3rd, 4th, 10th, and 11th Streets as well as Almaden Boulevard, in the downtown area. In February, State Senator Alan Lowenthal of Long Beach introduced SB 1464, the new three-foot passing bill the California Bicycle Coalition is cosponsoring with the City of Los Angeles. It's identical to last year's three-foot bill (SB 910), but without the language the governor found problematic.
