Lawrence Expressway Improvement Project workshop
Jun 13, 2013The County Roads and Airports Department is seeking community input to help shape the future of Lawrence Expressway improvements. The County is partnering with the cities of Santa Clara and Sunnyvale to address traffic congestion at the intersections at Reed Avenue/Monroe Street, Kifer Road, and Arques Avenue. There may be a possibility of replacing the signals with interchanges.

Chip seal on Highway 35
May 01, 2013Last Friday, SVBC hosted a meeting with local advocates and Caltrans representatives to discuss the recent chip seal maintenance job on Highway 35. SVBC heard from a number of our members that the riding experience on Highway 35 had been significantly degraded as a result of the recent chip seal--and we responded.

Every city has distinctive signage and street markings; It's really fascinating.
