Santa Clara County delays proposal deadline
Jun 22, 2012This update on events in Santa Clara County was provided by member Adina Levin.
At Tuesday's Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors meeting, the Board decided to put the brakes on deciding how to spend $10.4 million on trail funds that could go to complete a missing link in the Bay Trail.

Guadalupe River Trail construction update
Jun 19, 2012As mentioned in the May trails update, the Lower Guadalupe River Creek Trail in San José will be closed for paving from June 2012 through May 2013. Here's the latest on that project.

Arastradero road diet boosts walking and biking

Traffic calming measures implemented on Arastradero Road two years ago seem to be responsible for a drastic reduction in the number of collisions involving motorists and cyclists. San José bike lanes update meeting
Jun 13, 2012Please join the City of San José for an update on its plans to place dedicated bike lanes on Ocala Avenue (between Capitol Expressway and South White Road). This project will include the reduction of one travel lane in each direction in order to accommodate the implementation of buffered bike lanes. Minimal parking impacts are anticipated with this project.

Stevens Creek Trail bridge grand opening
