Bike safety workshop in San Carlos

Whether you are just getting started or have been riding for a short while, join Commute.org for a bike safety workshop on Saturday, September 15th at the San Carlos Library.

Summer Bike Camp Success

What’s better than riding a bike on a nice summer afternoon? That’s exactly what over 20 youth were able to do as they participated in Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition’s first Summer Bike Camp during the week of July 30. The four-day camp took place at the Alma Youth Center in San José where kids ages 9-16 learned about bicycle safety and environmental stewardship.

Adult bike education

Knowing how to ride a bicycle is great, but do you know how to drive your bike safely? Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition teaches adults safe cycling techniques that will allow them to drive their bikes with more confidence for transportation, recreation and fun. We often partner with local organizations and city agencies to offer a diverse set of classes for cyclists of all levels.
