Guadalupe River Trail off-limits next weekend

Construction of the Lower Guadalupe River Trail has been ongoing for several months. The City of San José Trail Manager is asking for your continued cooperation as they apply a final coating to the pavement on August 24 through 27 (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday). The City of San Jose is seeking volunteers for its annual Trail Count. Help collect data necessary for making our trail system even better!

San Jose conducts a Trail Count each year to determine trail usage and obtain user input on design and operations of the trails. The City is seeking volunteers for this year’s count on September 19.

Project to be developed per phasing plan: 1. Phase 1: 880 to Trimble 2. Phase 2: Trimble to Montague 3. Phase 3: Montague to Gold Street

Grading and oil pre-coat applied to support paving from 880 to Airport. Two layers of asphalt paving installed from 880 to Airport (expect to be done by 7/23). Grading occuring between Airport Parkway and Green Island Bridge.... read the whole note.
